Education
Raminta Vaicekauskaitė finished her studies in choir conducting at the Kaunas Juozas Naujalis Music Gymnasium in 1994.
1997–2005 she studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (BA in 2001, MA in 2003, practice based PhD in 2005),
1999–2000 she studied at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz (Austria),
2004 singing master classes at the Sommerakademie Prag–Wien–Budapest (Baden, Austria).
2005 singing master classes at the 5. Internationale Opernwerkstatt Laubach (Laubach, Germany).

Professors:
Regina Maciūtė, Josef Loibl, Rotraud Hansmann, Verena Keller.

Competitions:
2002: 4th prize, Franz Schubert Award and the prize for the best performance of a song by a French composer at the 5th international competition for chamber music singers, Yantarny solovei (Kaliningrad, Russia).
2004: 1st prize at the 3rd International Jāzeps Vītols Singing Competition (Riga, Latvia);
Grand Prix at the international singing competition, Iskustvo XXI veka (Kiev, The Ukraine);
Diploma at the Vincė Jonuškaitė–Zaunienė Singing Competition (Vilnius).
2005: 1st prize and diploma for the best performance of Lied at the International Competition for Vocalists and Accompanists (Vilnius);
1st prize at the master class at the 5. Internationale Opernwerkstatt Laubach (Laubach, Germany);
Diploma at the 11th international singing competition, Neue Stimmen 2005 (Gütersloh, Germany);
3rd prize at the Vincė Jonuškaitė–Zaunienė Singing Competition (Vilnius).
2006: 1st prize and Bravissimo Prize for scenic expression at the 4th Beatričė Grincevičiūtė Chamber Singing Competition (Vilnius).

Festivals:

2003: participated in the festival ALMA MATER MUSICALIS and international music festival FIMU (Bellfort, France).
2004: participated in the festival Druskininkai Summer with M. K. Čiurlionis.
2005: participated in festivals Sugrįžimai (Returns) and Kuršių Nerija (Curonian Spit).
2006: participated in the 2nd Festival Pieśni Europejskiej (Warsaw, Poland), Kuršių Nerija, Alternatyva 2006 (Alternative) and ALMA MATER MUSICALIS.

Raminta has worked together with the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra (Germany), Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre Orchestra, Latvian National Opera Theatre Orchestra, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, chamber ensemble Musica Humana, Vilnius University Chamber Ensemble as well as choirs Jauna muzika and Polifonija. She has performed under the baton of J.Darlington, A.Viļumanis, S.Sondeckis, V.Viržonis, R.Šervenikas, J.Janulevičius, A.Vizgirda, V.Lukočius, M.Pitrėnas and V.Augustinas.

2005 – CD, another coffee cantata by anonymous 18th c. composer, Schweigt stille, plaudert nicht.

Currently, she is a soloist at the Kaunas State Musical Theatre.
