Aistė Širvinskaitė was born on the 2nd of March 1971 in Vilnius. In 1990 she entered the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, solo singing class (with Assoc. Prof. N. Mameniškienė). Later the singer studied with Prof. Regina Maciūtė and finished her postgraduate studies in 2003 with Prof. Irena Milkevičiūtė. In 2003–2006 she had internship at the Opera Studio held by Prof. Virgilijus Noreika at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Aistė Širvinskaitė has participated in international master classes and festivals in Lithuania, Poland and Sweden. She started her concert career when she was still a student; she participated in programmes of Lithuanian and St. Christopher Chamber Orchestras and Šiauliai Chamber Orchestra Polifonija. In 2001-2002 the soloist sang during the final concert of the festival Christmas Music (Kalėdų muzika, W. A. Mozart’s Kronungs Messe), festival Classics (Klasika) and Šiauliai Church Music Festival. The singer gave a solo concert in 2002 during the Kristupo Summer Festival (Kristupo vasaros festivalis) in the Vilnius Picture Gallery. She often appears together with the chamber ensemble Musica Humana: during the Curonian Spit (Kuršių Nerijos) and Pažaislio festivals. In 2004 the singer performed in Oslo, Norway, to commemorate February the 16th at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania and City Concert Hall. In 2005 many concerts took place in the country to commemorate the 100th anniversary of A. Račiūnas and K. Kaveckas. She has participated in religious music concerts together with the State Orchestra Trimitas; also during the concert Seeing out the Year of W. A. Mozart and Greeting the Year of E. Grieg; concert of sacral music to commemorate the anniversary of Prof. V. Noreika in Šiauliai Cathedral. In 2006 the singer participated in the concert Music of Heaven and Earth to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Prof. Algirdas Vizgirda’s creative career.

Aistė Širvinskaitė’s repertoire includes large vocal-instrumental opuses: G. F. Handel’s Dixit Dominus, Acis und Galatea and Kantate fur Sopran obligates Cembalo und Violencele, J. Haydn’s Nelsonmesse, W. A. Mozart’s Kronungs Messe, Requiem, Vesperae solennes de confessore and Litaniae Lauretanae, G. Rossini’s Messa di Rimini, A. Dvorak’s Stabat Mater and Te Deum, C. Saint-Saens’s Oratorio de Noel and J. S. Bach,’s Magnificat. When participating in the Opera Studio in 2005 the singer performed the role of Dalia in the opera by B. Dvarionas, Dalia. She also performed roles of Tatyana and Larina in the opera of P. Tchaikovsky Eugene Onegin, Gran Sacerdotessa in G. Verdi’s opera Aida and Siegrune in R. Wagner’s opera Die Walkure.
